I Cross my Faith and hope you guys come back next year

For people who like mainstream music, its not uncommon they get to watch their favorite artist perform in Singapore. However for me, if bands I like come to Singapore, it is a VERY big deal. The best thing is there are 2 coming to Singapore this month. Crossfaith and ONE OK ROCK. A dew hours ago, I watched Crossfaith perform at Homeclub!

I love small-venue shows because of the mosh pit where all the danger and fun is at. That's where all the madness is at. People who punch-dance, the 'Circle of Death', pushing and shoving, crowd-surfing, non-stop jumping and endless headbanging. That's what the mosh pit is all about.

Her Name in Blood who opened the show for Crossfaith did a Lady Gaga cover:

They butchered the song but hell they butchered it LIKE A BOSS! I didn't take anymore videos or pictures since my phone's picture quality sucks and with the madness in the mosh pit, it wasn't safe anyways. Some poor guy had his spectacles crushed and even got a nice elbow in the face. Notice how near the singer is, the band was literally in my face. You definitely won't get that in a big venue concert.

The show was fantastic. It was a headbanger's ball and I can feel that I would be getting a real stiff neck after tonight. My legs are aching from all the jumping and my voice is a little hoarse. The only complaint I have is that the show was too short.

The best thing is I manage to get a picture with Hiro(Left), Crossfaith's bassist after the show! The guy on the right is Daiki, guitarist for Her Name in Blood. Hiro was suprised by my coldrain shirt. I told him I watched them opening for coldrain in Osaka. He was also surprised that I was Singaporean. Probably didn't expect a foreigner would travel to Japan and watch them play. I told them they should come back to play again and guess what, he said they would probably return next year. Wahahaha! Fingers crossed, they will be back with an all new setlist. Till then, I'll keep chanting: WE WERE BORN FOR THIS TIME, SO WE RISE AND DANCE TOGETHER!!!

ENGLAND WIN THE WORLD CUP!

In my dreams... I know they probably won't win but I'm still supporting them all the way. Great that they won Sweden in such spectacular fashion. Still pretty sloppy play after their first goal and they need to get better with their possession play. Now all they need to do is draw Ukraine. COME ON ENGLAND!

Its EURO by the way. Not World Cup.

Time to start typing all over again

Its been so long since I've typed furiously on the keyboard. The blog's getting real dusty now. Time to get it restarted again. Here's booming song to kick things back up.

By the way, the review for the game sucks. The song really kicks the place where the sun don't shine though. Can't wait for the EP to be out. Song is 'No Escape' by coldrain. If you love the old Linkin Park (not the new emo nonsense they're coming out with), give this band a try.

Angsty Young Punks

When I was younger, I admit I made a fair share blunders and errors. Even now, I still commit stupid mistakes, most of the time in the name of good fun. But somehow, I think this young punk has taken pole position from me:

I won't judge him but I can't help but make fun of his wangdefool video. Prease pardon me.

First of all, I can't help but notice how he keeps talking about drinking breast milk. I'm quite curious how he knows that other kid still drinks his mom's milk. Its creepy if you think about it. Prease, Aaron. Come out of the closet. If you are gay, just admit it. If you love the 14 year old kid, just tell him. I know they say, 打是疼骂是爱 but you know, going so angsty and threatening the boy like that won't help your cause. Aaron, just say it. Say you love him. Prease. For goodness sake.

I won't take a cheap shot at his language, instead I want to talk about his hair. I don't know how Ryan Gobangthehead's hair looks like (Though I won't expect it to be great) but if you ever dye your hair or have funky hairstyles, never go commenting about people's hair. Trust me Aaron Gaylord, I know it from personal experience.

One other thing Aaron. I lost you at around 3:30. Prease, I know you're feeling the angst but that's no reason to prattle on like a never-ending fart.
