Bassist Gangnam Style

I enjoy hating what people like and I admit disliking the K-wave thing. When Gangnam Style went into full-swing, I must admit I did find the song catchy but like most one-hit wonders, it gets overplayed and you start having the urge to shoot yourself in the head to stop hearing the song forever.

BUT when 1 of 2 of my favourite Koreans (I admit I only have a liking for 2 Koreans, the 2nd one being Park Ji Sung) plays a cover, I get interested. It doesn't disappoint and it CANNOT BE UNSEEN!

For Pete's sake...

When people say for Pete's sake, is it right to infer that the big guy up there is named Pete? Could it be this guy:

UFOs and Aliens

What if there was a space federation in the galaxy and UFOs are space crafts sent by the federation to check on humans to find out if we have the technical know-how to join this federation at this point in time? Perhaps we'll be getting an invitation in the near future...

The Mad People...

What if the mad people are in fact the sane ones and the real insane people kept them in 'Mental Institutions' to prevent them from changing the world back to normal...

Top 10 Things to do if I were a Supreme Being

10) Pop by the window of a plane in mid-flight and say hi to the stunned kid looking out.

9) Make the sun rise from the west and set in the east for one day or hide the sun for one day or keep the sun up for one day. Whichever suits my fancy.

8)  Magically return the passengers in the transport I'm taking back to their starting points... Just so I get to sit down.

7) Chocolate rain!

6) Pause time so I can smack the chump who cannot stop blabbering.

5) An Autobot as my car. For real. Maybe Optimus Prime.

4) Alter people' voice while they speak. Adjust their tone, pitch, language and speed then sit back and have a good laugh. Preferably when its on LIVE television... I'd make them snort out of the blue for added fun.

3) Have a dollar deposited in my POSB Savings Account for every time any person uses a swear word.

2) Create a rain cloud that follows some poor chap wherever he goes.

1) Air 'The Song that Doesn't End' over the skies for the entire day.

Aaaaaaaaaand that's why I'm just a peasant.

Sometimes...

I wish I have a gun to shoot the legs off people who can't seem to sit properly in trains and cinemas. Always leaning into the back of my seat. Compromising my comfort and sometimes my sleep.

And those who can't seem to keep your music to yourself or lower your volume, I wish I had a gun to shoot your limb as well. Then your screaming would be like music to my ears...

Wahahaha. I sound like a psycho. Anyways...

The Cleaner in your Office

What if that cleaner in your office is actually responsible for your appraisals? What if the cleaner determines how much you get for your bonus or raise?

He/she doesn't even understand English you say? What if they were feigning it all to throw you off guard...

Top 10 Things to do if I were the President

10) Declare a state of emergency because my house has run out of sugar.

9) Photo bomb people taking pictures at the Istana.

8) Activate the entire national guard to get me a pizza.

7) On April Fool's day, declare that I have 'officially lost the key to the treasury' as a joke.

6) Make the parliament participate in a flash mob.

5) Get artisans to erect a statue of me directly opposite the Sir Stamford Raffles statue along Singapore River. Preferably doing a funny pose.

4) Arrive on a Harley Davidson for the National Day Parade.

3) Make funny faces for the camera whenever there is press coverage.

2) Stall the parade march past for more than one hour by refusing the parade commander to carry on with the parade.

1) Crowd surf during the National Day Parade.

Aaaaaaaaaand that's why I'm not the President.

I Cross my Faith and hope you guys come back next year

For people who like mainstream music, its not uncommon they get to watch their favorite artist perform in Singapore. However for me, if bands I like come to Singapore, it is a VERY big deal. The best thing is there are 2 coming to Singapore this month. Crossfaith and ONE OK ROCK. A dew hours ago, I watched Crossfaith perform at Homeclub!

I love small-venue shows because of the mosh pit where all the danger and fun is at. That's where all the madness is at. People who punch-dance, the 'Circle of Death', pushing and shoving, crowd-surfing, non-stop jumping and endless headbanging. That's what the mosh pit is all about.

Her Name in Blood who opened the show for Crossfaith did a Lady Gaga cover:

They butchered the song but hell they butchered it LIKE A BOSS! I didn't take anymore videos or pictures since my phone's picture quality sucks and with the madness in the mosh pit, it wasn't safe anyways. Some poor guy had his spectacles crushed and even got a nice elbow in the face. Notice how near the singer is, the band was literally in my face. You definitely won't get that in a big venue concert.

The show was fantastic. It was a headbanger's ball and I can feel that I would be getting a real stiff neck after tonight. My legs are aching from all the jumping and my voice is a little hoarse. The only complaint I have is that the show was too short.

The best thing is I manage to get a picture with Hiro(Left), Crossfaith's bassist after the show! The guy on the right is Daiki, guitarist for Her Name in Blood. Hiro was suprised by my coldrain shirt. I told him I watched them opening for coldrain in Osaka. He was also surprised that I was Singaporean. Probably didn't expect a foreigner would travel to Japan and watch them play. I told them they should come back to play again and guess what, he said they would probably return next year. Wahahaha! Fingers crossed, they will be back with an all new setlist. Till then, I'll keep chanting: WE WERE BORN FOR THIS TIME, SO WE RISE AND DANCE TOGETHER!!!

ENGLAND WIN THE WORLD CUP!

In my dreams... I know they probably won't win but I'm still supporting them all the way. Great that they won Sweden in such spectacular fashion. Still pretty sloppy play after their first goal and they need to get better with their possession play. Now all they need to do is draw Ukraine. COME ON ENGLAND!

Its EURO by the way. Not World Cup.

They...

Random person: They say ah, this game very fun.

Who are 'they'? 他们是谁? Is this the Truman Show? How come 'they' always tell you so much?

Conspirators everywhere...

Time to start typing all over again

Its been so long since I've typed furiously on the keyboard. The blog's getting real dusty now. Time to get it restarted again. Here's booming song to kick things back up.

By the way, the review for the game sucks. The song really kicks the place where the sun don't shine though. Can't wait for the EP to be out. Song is 'No Escape' by coldrain. If you love the old Linkin Park (not the new emo nonsense they're coming out with), give this band a try.
